charming antique decor, private garden seating, extensive tea and coffee selection
A bit of road noise can be bothersome!!! Not all amenities felt necessary, leaving me wishing for a more minimalist experience!!! Some items appeared outdated, leading to a cluttered feeling!!!

Had an unforgettable stay in the Suite with Garden View! The breakfast was an absolute delight—Peter's cooking is a culinary treasure. Plus, the cozy cottage was filled with quirky Kiwiana touches, making the atmosphere even more charming.
The step up to the shower had me smack my toe—ouch! But honestly, nothing could dim the glow of this stay.

Staying in the cottage was a delightful experience, enhanced by the charming outdoor verandah overlooking the garden, perfect for meals. The homemade hot breakfast was a standout, featuring organic fruits that added a fresh touch. A slight downside was occasional road noise, which could be bothersome at night. Additionally, the proximity to local attractions was somewhat less convenient than anticipated, making travel times a bit longer. However, the cozy aesthetics of the space and the hosts' warm hospitality made the experience memorable.
